"Just like the news, it's a 24/7 business, and I love it," says Jack.   Whether Jack's at the office, at home, or even on vacation, he constantly monitors his customers and potential customers' automotive needs, and is available by e-mail and/or phone.

Jack says, "people often ask me who's the most impressive person I've ever interviewed." And since he's interviewed everybody from Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, President George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Bob Hope (and on & on & on), he's got a bunch to choose from. "Ordinary people! They are the most impressive people, because they are the people who really make this country work. And they're the real deal, not plastic. That's why I enjoy getting to meet so many of them now in the car business.

"I grew up in a small town in Texas," says Jack, "and most of my Oklahoma customers forgive me for being a Texas Tech graduate! Especially because I'm NOT a University of Texas fan!"

What Jack loves most about his new vocation is a product that's second to none in safety, comfort, reliability, and handling. "Volkswagen owns so many other car companies now, like Audi and Lamborghini. I always say buying a VW is like buying the Equate brand at Wal-Mart. If you want big-time German technology in your vehicle, but you don't want the big-time price, and you can live without the Audi rings or whatever on your car, we're your vehicle!"
